I became part of the Hartzel team in September of 2021 as a veterinary assistant. I received my veterinary assistant certification through Ashworth Career School in 2008 and have since
worked in nearly all aspects of the pet care world. The key areas of veterinary medicine that I find myself interested in are rehabilitation, behavior and senior care. My time spent involved with rescue, including working for the SPCA, led me to pursue a career that would allow me to help animals live happy, healthy lives. I love that I am forever learning new things and I could not ask for a better team of women to be learning from. When I’m not at the clinic, you can find me at the barn with my horses, out on the trails with my dogs, or hiding at home with my rescue cats.
